Details: Poker chip rally-type run to club member Jeff’s Santa Ysabel hideaway where we’ll total everyone’s score, assign a new poker champion (memorialized on the club trophy) and enjoy a lunch surrounded by nature! The club will provide beef burgers, salmon burgers, buns, condiments and sides. If you are an intrepid explorer, on-road or off-road enthusiast (with a healthy sense of humor), have an occasional competitive streak and a healthy appetite, LRCSD would love to have you participate.

Time & Place to Meet:

• Meet: Saturday, April 18, 10:00 am
• Where: Kit Carson Amphitheater             100 Amphitheater Dr, Escondido, CA 92025

What to bring:

• Required:
  • Sense of humor
  • Water and snacks (for the short drive)
  • A companion/navigator for your vehicle so someone can read the signs while you’re driving
  • Any necessary tire changing tools, including anti-theft lug nut keys; if you bring them you won’t need them but if you leave them home, it’ll be the one time you get a flat. 😉
  • Sufficient fuel for your vehicle
  • Any special food or drink that you can’t live without during the lunch
• Recommended:
  • Sunscreen and hat
  • Amateur 2m (ham) radio with external antenna (very highly recommended)
