September 21, 2025, Hemet to Idyllwild via Bee Canyon Truck Trail
The September club trip was a fun scenic day trip to Idyllwild via Hemet. We navigated paved roads until tuning onto the Bee Canyon Truck Trail and enjoyed the scenery while we climbed up the mountains. The fire roads were well maintained, but a precipitous drop off to one side kept everyone focused during the drive. A short snack break took place at a nice crook in the road that sported a small pond and waterfall, then we pushed on to Idyllwild for a proper lunch! (do you get the picture that we are food motivated in addition to adventure seekers?)
