Aug 29th 2020, Warner Springs Airport, 10:30am 10 vehicles.

Everything went according to planned, we had lunch in the only wooded with big trees just by a spring, after lunch we made our way to the main entrance of our trail. The trail as expected is narrow, rutted, rocky, and steep grades with area of loose rocks.

We all made it thru the gate keeper, I did need some help. After a couple of miles my RRC88 started to create some noises, and a few feet later my rear Diff gave up, I had no more rear traction and maybe a couple of miles later my front Diff gave up too!!!! At this point I was a dead weight. Luckily I was not alone!! The club members where able to get me all the way to pavement.

Everybody had a great time on the trail, from navigating the obstacles, recovery sessions, getting vehicles unstuck from the soft ground, flat tires. We even had some night time driving.

By 9:15 we made to camp, around 5 hours behind schedule. But that didn’t stop anyone to have a great evening preparing the best food I have had while on a trip (Filet Mignon with chimichurri sauce and crumbled blue cheeses and scallops, Korean kalbi, chips w/guacamole and salsa and carne asada, me Marinated Rib Eye steaks, cheese and meat platter, etc.) and then sit by the fire. 🌙

Everyone had a good time and made it safe home on Sunday
