DESCRIPTION:Join Chris Herich on a run through Corral Canyon.  Pre-run pictures are posted below if you want to get a preview of the trails. \nChris’ Trip Details: \nWe will depart the Buckman Springs rest area by 9:30am and head south to the Corral Canyon OHV area.  First\, we’ll head up to the Los Pinos Fire Lookout station where we can get a tour by the Forest Service personnel who man one of the last Forest Service Fire lookout stations in Southern California.  The views from atop this mountain are spectacular. \nThen we’ll head down the Corral Canyon Trail and stop for lunch under the trees at the Corral Canyon Campground.  After lunch we’ll continue the trail and loop around the OHV area on 17S04.  There are numerous trails crisscrossing the OHV area that we can explore depending on the level of difficulty we decide to conquer.  The main loop will be fairly easy and suitable for all rigs. \nThis will be a great trip for new and old Rovers alike to spend the day out in the San Diego County back country. \n\n\n\n	\n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n \n\n\nTime & Place to Meet: \n\n\nWhen – October 26th \, 9:00am meeting time. \n\n\nWhere  – Buckman Springs Rest Area\, I-8 East\, Exit 51 \n\n\nWhat to bring: \n\nRequired:\n\nLunch and snacks.\nDrinking water \nAll-terrain tires and full-sized spare\nAny necessary tire changing tools\, including anti-theft lug nut keys\nAny emergency & recovery gear you may have\nSufficient fuel for your vehicle\n\n\nRecommended:\n\nFamily and dog\nSunscreen and hat\nAmateur 2m radio with external antenna (very highly recommended)\n\n\n\nFrequency: 2M: 147.580 MHz\nRSVP/Register: Sign up below\nTrail Leader: Chris Herich
