This event is limited to 8 vehicles\, additional registrations will be waitlisted.  \n___________________________ \nTrip Description:  \n\nRating: Moderate\nSpecial event details:\n\nWhen: Sunday-Monday\, Feb 26-27\nLocation: Anza Borrego desert\nAccommodations: Primitive campsite included. You may make alternate arrangements at your own expense.  \nCost: $250 per vehicle (Full payment required to secure your spot. See payment options below.)\nDescription: This is a live instruction event led by the legendary Bill Burke! Using environmentally-friendly procedures\, attendees will learn the correct way to drive and perform recoveries. The off-road routes are designed to provide comprehensive learning opportunities\, where you’ll receive hands-on demonstrations of terrain navigation. This experience is an excellent opportunity for you to become familiar with your vehicle’s full capabilities. Well-behaved kids of appropriate age and Well-behaved dogs of all ages are welcome.\n\nYou will learn:\n\nHow to be more prepared (vehicle/personal) when going into the backcountry\nHow to negotiate rough terrain\nHow to do a quick field fix when something on your truck breaks\nHow to pick a proper line and how to spot another driver\nBasic and advanced recovery techniques\nSuggestions for modifying your truck and much\, much more\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTime & Place to Meet:  \n\nMeet: Sunday\, Feb 26\, 8:30 am\, Depart: 9:00 am\nWhere: Ave Nordeste in Borrego Springs\n\nThis is a dirt lot across from: Christmas Circle Community Park\, Borrego Springs\, 92004.\nIt sounds confusing\, but it’s really easy to find.
