Valle de Guadalupe Trip
Trip Description:
Rating: Easy, washboard/gravel roads.
Route: We will take a weekend trip to the Valle de Guadalupe area for some fun off-roading, amazing wine tasting and great restaurants. Details to follow, but it will be epic!

Time & Place to Meet:
- Meet: Saturday, June 28th, 9:00 am (depart by 9:30 am)
- Where: McDonald’s Parking Lot, 4449 Camino De La Plaza, San Ysidro. Please arrive fueled up.
What to bring:
- Mexico specific info
- Mexico vehicle insurance is MANDATORY. Your US policy will not provide valid coverage. Inexpensive daily/monthly/annual policies are available online and through agencies near the boarder (on the US side).
- If you have Global Entry or SENTRI, ensure your truck is registered in advance, and everyone in the vehicle has a valid card. Vehicles without valid access can convoy together through the standard crossing lanes.
- Most cellular carriers include Mexico voice/data service as part of your regular plan. Please verify with your carrier before departing.
- Firearms and ammunition of any kind are strictly prohibited. Don’t be stupid.
- Appetite for good wine and great food

- Portable charger for your cell phone
- All-terrain tires and full-sized spare
- Any emergency & recovery gear you may have
- Any necessary tire changing tools, including anti-theft lug nut keys
- Sufficient fuel for your vehicle (we will stop to refuel as needed)
- Drinking water, (1) gallon per day per person, consider pet’s needs if applicable)
- Snacks for both days.
Weather can be unpredictable – checking the National Weather Service report is recommended.
